He is dedicated to creating authentic stories with cultural and social backgrounds. In 2013 he makes his first documentary about education in Sierra Leone - West-Africa. He produces the stage design projection for Rio Reiser - Mein Name ist Mensch, a dance feature film called Resistanz,&nbsp;with dancers by Sasha Waltz. In addition to countless other documentary productions, self-guided video workshops, image films, photo documentations and portrait sessions, he founds the artist collective Magma Studio in 2019 and in 2020 the climate-friendly film collective called the Green Twenties. This is the question that green20s is exploring in its latest project: The Transformation Portal. In collaboration with the association THF (THF Transformationsbündnis), Green20s is exploring how the association is managing to take over one of the biggest buildings in Europe and turning it into a space for the people of Berlin. A space where transformation is possible. THF brings together the world's leading science, implements practical solutions and thus empowers citizens with the skills and resources they need to collectively mobilize and regenerate the ecology of the city. In the documentary, we witness how the association brings together both established and emerging initiatives from the art and culture, social and sustainable sectors, and at the same time involves the citizens of Berlin to come together and collectively participate in transforming urban environments into healthy ecologies. The 300,000-square-meter building of the former Tempelhof Airport is located in the middle of the city and, as a communal commons, offers opportunities for Berlin that hardly any other metropolis has. Its use and development for the benefit of Berlin's population can become a place with great charisma for sustainable urban development. Here, the locals, 90% of whom have a migrant background, look like protagonists from a Renaissance oil painting. The ambience is mixed with the costumes and accessories of modern city life. Hardly any other major European city is as much a part of migration as naturally as it is to Marseille. Many naturalized residents have foreign roots. Unlike to other major French cities, the Marseille, immigrants have not been pushed out to the suburbs, but have settled in the center near the port. Around a quarter of Marseille's population is Muslim. First and foremost, the inhabitants of France's second-largest city do not identify themselves as Algerian, French, Italian, Arab, or Muslim - but as Marseilleans. A production of a photo book production is currently in progress. We had a very good exchange throughout the conception, production, and post-production of the film. In a series of interviews and cinematic vignettes, the film grapples with the civil war, education and the social projects that provide hope. Education in one of the poorest countries in the world: in 2013 Sierra Leone was the country with the third lowest GDP per capita in the world. Education is an essential task to fight poverty, illiteracy and corruption. Educating the younger generations also helps to clarify and overcome the civil war that took place there between 1999 and 2002. How do people process experiences like massacres? Hardly anyone talks about it, yet the topic hangs over the capital city of Freetown like the smog that arises every day: everyone breathes it in, but no one knows how to get rid of it. Those who stay there long enough have already become accustomed to it. People live here in a beautiful fertile land, but still prefer their crowded capital Freetown as their center of life. How can a country develop when the president and his relatives are among the richest politicians in the world? Schooling and education seem to be the solution.
